Fire, coffee and leaving

Do you know how pleasant it is to sit in your reclining chair by the fire in the woodstove on a Sunday morning, the first Sunday morning off daylight savings time, and sip coffee? It's pleasant. One of the most pleasant things on earth. And yet, just as the fire got roaring, I put on a jacket, stepped outside and now I walk in the chill air.
